War Inna Babylon: The Community’s Struggle for Truths and Rights

This week, we’re highlighting the exhibition ‘War Inna Babylon: The Community’s Struggle for Truths and Rights’ at The Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, co-curated by Stafford Scott of Tottenham Rights, Kamara Scott and Rianna Jade Parker.

The ground-breaking exhibition chronicles the activism and resistance undertaken by Britain’s Black communities since the 1940’s, in response to targeted institutional and societal racism.

It focuses specifically on lived experiences of structural violence in the “symbolic location” of Tottenham, north London and the local community’s resistance against it. The exhibition includes archival material, documentary photography, film and 3D technology, as well as original tributes and case studies.

It is open to the public from 12 – 9pm, Tuesday – Sunday and runs till 26 September 2021! For further information and to book your ticket visit the ICA’s website.
