Thomas Aquilina is an architect and academic dedicated to building communities of radical thought and progressive practice. He is an associate professor and co-director of Spatial Justice at The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL and a senior associate at We Made That.
His work spans different forms of practice to include advocacy, design, pedagogy, policy and research. Thomas is committed to making architecture more equitable and creating an expanded audience for the discipline. He is co-director of New Architecture Writers, an experimental pedagogic project for emerging writers of colour. In 2019, Thomas co-founded the architecture collective Afterparti.
