Rich Holland was born in the Midlands, United Kingdom and has been skateboarding since the late 1980’s in the Birmingham and Nottingham scene. Initially Rich started experimenting with skateboardable architecture/sculptures in 2001 as a founder of the London based collective, ‘The Side Effects of Urethane’. Over the last 20 years plus, his international scope of works have challenged, evolved and inspired concepts around skateboarding and its place within the public domain.
