Magdalena Malm is a curator and advisor in organizational development. Between 2012 and 2019 she was the director of Public Art Agency Sweden, during which she transformed the agency towards including temporary projects and artists’ involvement in urban development. Malm was the founding director of MAP, Mobile Art Production, an independent arts organization producing situation-specific art projects. She has worked as advisor for the Swedish Ministry of Culture, the National Architect of Sweden as well as the National Center of Architecture. At the moment she is involved in several urban development projects in Sweden.
Malm has curated a number of exhibitions at Moderna Museet Stockholm, at the Venice Art Biennale and and she is the editor of among other Curating Context and Imagining the Audience.
