‘How to stay safe online’ is an urgent digital self-care tool in response to the fact that black woman are 84% more likely to be harassed online and there has been a rise 71% rise in online disability abuse and 78% of LGBTQ people have experienced hate speech.
The book highligts the personal experiences of the author alongside interviews with Jameela Jamil, Hera Hussain, Laura Bates and Yassmin Abdel-Magied.
The author also set up GLITCH, charity that’s been on a mission to end online abuse, in response to her own personal experiences of online abuse after being elected youngest Black female Councillor in East London at age 23.
