Cathy Mahmood

Cathy has been managing the ChalleNGe Partnership, hosted by Nottingham Trent University, since early 2019. Leading the Local Cultural Education Partnership for Nottingham, she convenes an ambitious programme for and with children and young people in the city, inspiring collaboration cross a wide range of arts partners, schools and community organisations. From a flagship schools programme, the Cultural Rucksack, to Summer Art Pop Up and Family Arts Explorer programmes, Cathy connects people, funding and projects that celebrate creativity and empower young people's voices. Over the last 25 years, Cathy has enjoyed a range of arts management roles, working for Rebalancing the Outer Estates Foundation; The Creative Quarter, NHS Nottinghamshire, New Perspectives Theatre Company and Birmingham Arts and Community team.
