Cultural Producer & Programme Manager

April Brown is a Cultural Producer and Programme Manager based in London. She has ten years of experience in cultural project and programme management catering to young and diverse audiences. A thoughtful facilitator and mentor with a passion for community engagement and inclusion; her ability to work autonomously has allowed her to successfully coordinate projects for a range of business and not-for-profit work environments. She specialises in developing inclusive, multi-disciplinary programmes for young creatives aged 16-30 and has worked with a range of creative organisations including Somerset House, Tate, LIFT, Creative Access and Theatre Royal Stratford East.

She's an Associate Member of Black Curators Collective (BCC); a collective and forum for black women and non-binary curators in the UK, a fellow of The School for Social Entrepreneurs and an alumna of the UpRising Leadership Programme. Most recently, she completed the Clore Emerging Leaders Programme, became a Grand Plan judge and joined the Creative Access team as Programme Manager.
