My dream for culture in Enfield is that it becomes so instinctual for Enfield’s young people that they see it not as an add-on, but as an intrinsic part of their life. I hope for much greater access to opportunities for young people in all fields of the creative arts to support the celebration of their own and of others’ cultures. This requires us to actively dismantle barriers, embedding culture into the universal journey of growing up here to foster a true and widespread sense of belonging. It should be a default part of growing up here, not a privilege.
