Amina Lawal Agoro is a researcher and cultural producer who lives and works between the UK and West Africa. Broadly her work advocates for more diverse, global narratives and exchanges across cultural boundaries.
Most recently she curated an exhibition with ceramic installation artist Ngozi-Omeje Ezema as part of the 14th Biennial of Dakar OFF programme, which centered personal narrative to draw parallels between the transmutation of human emotion and of materials. Her practice based doctoral research intersects architectural history, curatorial and social practice, to investigate the reconstitution of lapsed architectural forms in Lagos.
