Akshay Gajria is a London-based storyteller, writer, and writing coach with an MA in Creative Writing from Birkbeck, University of London. His written work appears in publications including Human Parts, Mechanics Institute Review, Tamarind Literary Magazine, and Fabled Planet, among others. His short story Autobiography of a Dictionary has been adapted into two short films screened at international festivals.
He tells live personal stories on stage with The Moth, True Story London, The Story Collider, and Spark True Stories. His story Reject aired on the Moth Radio Hour globally and is available on The Moth Podcast.
Akshay is co-director of Tall Tales, India’s premier storytelling organisation, through which he has led creative writing and storytelling programmes with schools and organisations worldwide.
He is currently launching Your Story LABs — a new venture creating safe spaces for people to craft true stories from their lives.
