Under My Skin was presented by Roseanna Dias during Who has agency, whose voices are heard? as part of the Assembly online event series. The case study, written by Freelance Curator Chloe Hodge, looks at the framework for Under My Skin, a series of workshops where participating artists explored their own personal testimonies and developed filmmaking skills in response to Imran Perretta’s The Destructors. The workshops resulted in the co-produced three-part film Under My Skin which was presented at Spike Island.
The project was commissioned by Spike Island and produced by Roseanna Dias, Executive Producer at Rising, and Shamil Ahmed, Project Worker at Integrate UK, and its workshops were supported by the artist Imran Perretta.
