Following an exclusive screening featuring excerpts of the films currently on display at Touchstones Rochdale (until 13 February), artist Jasleen Kaur and the group from Rochdale’s Pakistani, Bengali and Punjabi communities who have worked closely with Jasleen over a number of months, will explore the nature and experience of collective practice, public participation and the politics of labour in creating artwork, both from the perspectives of the artist and the participants.
