Barging Through London (Again) shows Harry Parkinson’s rare original film (made as part of the ‘Wonderful London’ series in 1924) side-by-side with Somewhere’s 2011 shot-for-shot remake.

This film is a companion to Repeat to Flourish [2015]. Both films use dual projection to skip between films shot in different eras and had new scores commissioned for them by Tim and Matthew Olden. Barging Through London (Again) is a Somewhere film by Nina Pope and Karen Guthrie commissioned by UP Projects for The Floating Cinema 2011.

The Floating Cinema 2011 was commissioned by The Olympic Delivery Authority, funded by Arts Council England and part of CREATE11.
