Niamh Sullivan is the Commissions Curator at UP Projects covering the position for Kate Phillimore while she is on maternity leave. Niamh leads on the Newham Trackside Wall commission for Crossrail and is supporting the development of new commissions.
Prior to joining UP, Niamh held the position of Producer/ Curator at Art on the Underground working on commissions with Broomberg & Chanarin, Assemble and Heather Phillipson.
Niamh has over ten years of experience in the delivery of Public Art commissions and has worked in both the public sector and commercial galleries. She was Assistant Curator for two editions of the Folkestone Triennial, 2008 and 2011 and Producer/ Curator on a range of temporary and permanent art and design commissions for Futurecity from 2014 to 2016.
In 2005, Niamh cofounded Club Shepway and the B&B Project Space, a platform for artists, writers and educators concerned with the social and commercial development in East Kent.
Niamh received a BA in Fine Art from the Kent Institute of Art and Design.
