The Rivers Pool and Ravensbourne naturally define Lewisham’s parklands as they windtheir way across the borough, fed by the River Thames in the North and meandering to Lower Sydenham and Beckenham in the South.
Launched in June 2013, Secret Garden Lewisham responds to the rivers and the unique characteristics, communities and ecology of four of parks that the rivers pass through; Sue Godfrey Nature Park, Cornmill Gardens, Ladywell Fields and Riverpool Linear Park.
The series of commissions include new work by Rebecca Beinart, Close & Remote, The Klassnik Corporation and Henry Krokastis.
Secret Garden Project Lewisham has been developed in partnership with Lewisham Council and by Arts Council England.
