Chloe Hodge

Chloe has six years’ experience working in project management and commissioning for arts institutions, both in the UK and internationally. Before joining UP Projects, Chloe worked in Sydney where she produced large-scale sculptural commissions and performance works for the 21stBiennale of Sydney. Prior to this, Chloe was based in London where she produced exhibitions and projects for The Royal Academy of Arts, UBS Art Collection, Gasworks and Diep~Haven cross-Channel art festival.

In addition to her experience in artwork production, Chloe has a Masters in Curating Contemporary Art from The Royal College of Art. Chloe’s curatorial interests lie in socially-engaged and participatory practices, and she has therefore curated a series of independent projects in London, as well as working as a researcher for organisations such as Taipei Biennial in Taiwan.  In 2017 Chloe was invited to attend a curatorial residency at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, Canada.

With a background in arts journalism, Chloe has written for various arts publications including Apollo, Aesthetica, Artsy and e-flux, and is a member of the jury and ambassador for the International Design and Communication Awards at global arts communication conference, Communicating The Museum.
