Happy Redoubt (2013) was envisaged as the last outpost of a post-apocalyptic world in the wake of a technological meltdown. It offered an interactive encampment and events to create and trade artefacts, gain skills for a new world and help shape a new future.

An open-ended installation created by artists Juneau Projects for the Inigo Rooms at Somerset House grew and developed as audiences and participants responded and contributed.

Welcome to Happy Redoubt was commissioned by King's Cultural Institute in partnership with UP Projects.
