The Creative Learning Programme, one of three strands of Enfield of Dreams, is bringing together a number of Enfield-based creative practitioners to co-devise and deliver a programme of dynamic creative learning sessions for young people aged 11–18 across five Enfield-based secondary schools and youth groups.
These are being led by five Creative Learning Groups made up of an Enfield-based artist-educator, a Young Cultural Leader, and a Teacher or Youth Leader from the participating schools or youth centre: Bishop Stopford's School, Chase Community School. Edmonton County School, West Lea School and NYCC.
The programme aims to open young minds to creativity and inspire future creative career pathways, sparking curiosity, confidence and collaboration while supporting young people to develop creative skills and connect their learning to the world around them.
Each group will co-design and deliver:
- A programme of six creative learning sessions that introduces creative practice in its broadest sense
- “Go see” trips where students can visit arts organisations across London to inspire the programme
- A wider school assembly or group presentation to enable the project to reach and impact more young people.
You can find further information on each Creative Learning Group and it's members below.
