Three groups of young people were challenged to create a film from scratch in less than 24 hours. Working with filmmakers from Chocolate Films and armed with a GoPro camera each, the groups explored the canals, both in and around the water.

Forming part of the Floating Cinema ‘Extra-international’ tour from East to West London, Chocolate Films worked with three groups of young people to create short films using the canals as the basis for fictional documentary style reportage. Each group was challenged to create storyboards, scripts and shot lists before shooting and editing each film in less than 24 hours. The groups created fictional news reals reporting shark attacks, documentaries hunting for the canal monsters of the deep and recreated the football World Cup, with Team Poplar winning the trophy.
