Science & art collective Guerilla Science worked with pupils of St Paul's Way Trust School in Poplar to explore how biofuel can be created and it’s wider implications for sustainability.

Throughout the project, pupils were joined by guest artists, academics and scientists to learn about green power. Project themes include Algae Power, Energy Gardens, Bacterial Batteries and Energy Sci-fi. Pupils designed and conducted their own experiments to explore how we might live a more energy efficient life in the future using renewable energy sourced from the world around us. This film is about the project and created in collaboration with the young people, Guerilla Science and Chocolate Films.

The Floating Cinema is powered by a Hybrid Engine which runs on Biofuel.

The project was kindly supported by Foundation for FutureLondon (formerly The Legacy List) and City Bridge Trust.
